In many case Lenovo ThinkPad T61 with Nvidia Quadro NVS 140m often getting a trouble while try to make this graphics driver working with build 7264 x64 or with the latest 7600 x64 release. Mostly, the driver used was presented on windows update as a WDDM Pre-release and does not show up with build 7264 x64 and latest 7600 x64.

If you have the similar problem with Lenovo T61 here’s the following you can try:

- Firstly, download win7×64 driver from below this post
- Extract and find a zip archive called: additional_infs.zip
- In this archive extract the file called: nvlt.inf
- Put it with the rest of the files you extracted from the .exe file. You might see the driver is not digitally signed, but you can get your video card working.

Another easiest way is download the driver 186.03 modification version from a guy from seven forum which works for Lenovo T61 Nvidia nvs 140m. In this modification you can get useful patch to block brightness control and other additions to increase Nvidia Quadro NVS 140m graphic performance at T61.
