AquaMac’s GeForce 9x: Fix Error after Installing iAtkos

If you’re successful install iAtkos 10.5.5 (v5i) to Gateway P-7811FX means you have a basic working system already. Now you should be able to use EFI strings to get native resolution (1920×1200) during and after the boot sequence. And usually the Web cam works natively also. But it doesn’t enough.

One person who uses this method still gets some troubles. The features like advanced video (QE/CI), Ethernet, wireless, card reader, and audio are all broken. He’s tried various methods but those all didn’t have good results.

Basically, the Gateway P-7811FX system could be running well after install iAtkos 10.5.5 (v5i) on it. In above case where there are many problem still occurs, the main solution you need to try is using AquaMac’s GeForce series 9 installer followed by EFI strings generated with OSX86Tools. Just for notice gfx-tool will gives a different string.

In case AquaMac’s GeForce 9x installer doesn’t give QE/CI support, you need to install Aqua Mac’s 9x installer first then before restart the machine you need run the NVinject installer. After restart your 7811FX you will get full hardware acceleration on gfx card.

MSI CR400: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M Driver for Windows XP

After install Windows XP Sp2 at the MSI CR400 ones getting problem with the VGA driver that comes with the package, as it only support for Vista. To make it works properly then he’s try to download NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G from NVIDIA website for windows XP 32bit an install the download driver to the laptop, but it doesn’t work at all.

First thing you need to know, actually MSI only provides drivers for Vista, that’s why you can’t find the right driver for your CR400 with Windows XP install. But don’t worry you can use the CR600 driver as it has the same chipset with CR400. You can get the driver through the direct link below this post.

In case it doesn’t work either means the Device Instance IDs are not support by the driver. So if it comes, you can try to overwrite the original NVMI.INF file with a modified NVMI.INF with your Device Instance ID or modify the NVMI.INF yourself. If you want to know about Device Instance ID you can check it through the XP Device manager and click the details tab of the display adapter. The Device Instance ID.should be something similar with the start like
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_xxxx\SUBSYS_yyyyzzzz.

If you don’t have thought, this is a modified NVMI.INF from CR600/CR700 XP VGA driver you can download here below this post.

Download Modified NVMI.INF here
