Nokia N900 Revealed in Video

I have the feeling we should have seen this video last year, but it’s never to late to enjoy a Nokia promo. The video above will get you through some of the latest phones launched by Nokia. The N900 hasn’t been released yet so we can only watch it as it was revealed in this presentation. The N900 is an Internet Tablet which / phone which will get you a 3.5-inch WVGA display, an OMAP3430 500/600 MHz processor, a 5.0 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with dual-LED flash and auto-focus and 1GB of virtual runtime memory. Naturally it will deliver WiFi, HSPA, GPS and an accelerometer. When will Nokia launch it, that’s a question we don’t have the answer for. We should see it soon since the presentation above is so last year. What is Nokia waiting for?

Meizu M8 3G to Arrive in March 2010

I can’t wait to get my hands on the Meizu M8 3G in March 2010… NOT! Since the new iPhone is coming out in a couple of days we should check out the next iPhone-like phone that Meizu is working on. As I said, the new handset is the Meizu M8 3G and it’s set to arrive next March. By that time we’re probably going to get ready for the fourth generation iPhone and possibly the next Pre.
But let’s keep looking at the M8 3G. The phone will offer 3G connectivity via TD-SCDMA or WCDMA, a 800Mhz to 1GHz Samsung processor, a 3.5-inch display, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 8 to 16GB of storage. Impressive? Not quite really! We could use some new features since the phone is coming out next year. You know, like the ones that haven’t been done before and could inspire a whole new line of cell phones?
To be fair to Meizu, we do acknowledge its effort to produce an outstanding phone, but that’s about all we can do while we wait to see some innovation from their part.
